You probably have hard water and could benefit from a water softener.  The cool thing about that is that pretty much any system will soften the water, even an entry level or inexpensive one. It’s basically up to you to decide what you want to spend.  A better quality system will last longer, have a better warranty and will have a lot less maintenance.  Regardless, whether you are interested in price or quality, we appreciate the opportunity to show you the options we have.

Yeah…that’s pretty common here in Southwest Michigan, but whether it’s a rotten egg smell, a metallic smell or something else, we can fix that.  We can run some water tests but those do need to be on-site as most of the time the smell is caused by a gas which can dissipate after a few minutes.  We can do that for free, so it’s just a matter of scheduling a time (that is convenient for you) for us to pull a sample.

That’s probably iron and/or manganese.  As long as you have iron or manganese in it’s dissolved or clearwater form, you can fix this with the same system you’d use for hard water (a water softener), though when it comes to iron or manganese, you might want to consider a little better quality than an entry level or builders grade system.  Worse case scenario, you’ll need a filter to address this, but we can definitely determine whether you have the type of iron or manganese that requires a filter before you spend any money.  We can custom build a system for you that requires the least amount of maintenance and service.

Do you live around a swampy area, lake, pond or wetlands?  You might have tannins, which are pretty common here in South West Michigan.  But if done right, they are pretty easy to get rid of.  We should probably test your water to determine if it’s tannins or oxidized iron or something else entirely.  That’s a free test, so it’s just a matter of scheduling us to come out when it’s convenient for you.
